Milford, DE – On Thursday, May 9, 2013 Keller Williams of Dover, working with Milford Housing Development Corporation’s (MHDC) Home Repair Project stripped an old roof off of a senior citizen’s home in Dover Air Park, replaced rotten underlayment, and shingled the back side of their house. The volunteers also built a new deck with steps on the back of the house along with new steps on the side entrance. Keller William’s volunteers also made progress on building a handicapped ramp allowing the couple’s disabled daughter easier access into the home.
Keller Williams Realty has a year-round commitment to improve local communities through their RED Day initiative (Renew, Energize, and Donate). Each year, on the second Thursday in May, thousands of associates from the United States and Canada devote their time to renew and energize aspects of the communities in which they serve.
